Carrot cake garden

So this cake was ment to be for my friends husband but after I had baked the biggest carrot cake in the world I had a phone call from my friend saying that her husband had given up cake! Though luckily she had a friend who was celebrating her 30th birthday. And here's a pic of the giant quantity of cake mix.

Lip balm

I had nothing to do this weekend so I tried making lip balm!
I used a kit to make it and it is so simple.
(Kit from www.fabercastell.com if you want it http://www.fabercastell.com/creativity-for-kids)
recipe also adapted from http://www.fabercastell.com/creativity-for-kids

1.split your base ingredient in to 5 (equal) pieces and place in the little plastic jug

2.Half fill your purple dish (the one with out the left over base in) with very warm water from the tap it can't be boiled or microwaved.

3.put around 8 or 9 drops of colouring altogether for a thinner balm and 4 or 5 for a thicker balm

4.place the jug in the warm water and stir to mix the colours together and soften the base

5. The mix should be a little bit runny but not to runny!

6. Scrape into a container do it up and decorate the top with stickers!

Voila your very own lip balm!
